Wedding Video Service at The Ebell of Long Beach, California
Becca and Ryan’s wedding at The Ebell of Long Beach was the kind of day that reminds us why we love telling love stories on film. Equal parts heartfelt, stylish, and wildly fun, their celebration blended personal meaning with a bold disco rainforest vision that felt uniquely them.

Becca, a lawyer with a deep love for Taylor Swift, and Ryan, a physics professor who spends his free time on long-distance cycling adventures, are the perfect balance of head and heart. Together, they share a love for their cats and a sense of humor that made every moment feel relaxed and genuine. From the start, their priority was creating a wedding day that felt authentic, emotional, and joy-filled, and that energy carried through every frame of their film.
The historic Ebell of Long Beach set the stage beautifully. Built in the 1920s, it’s one of only three Southern California women’s clubs from that era, and its timeless architecture paired perfectly with the couple’s modern, playful design. Planned and designed by Anything But Gray Events, the space was transformed with lush florals by Leta Verbena and a full commitment to the disco ball theme, disco balls hanging from the ceiling and forming a shimmering backdrop for the ceremony.
The ceremony itself was intimate and emotional, with heartfelt, tear-filled vows that had guests openly crying (including us behind the cameras). The multi-tiered gold foil cake by Nicole Bakes Cakes added a touch of glam, while thoughtful details throughout the day reflected Becca and Ryan’s personalities and shared story.
We had the honor of providing full-day videography coverage with two shooters and six cameras, allowing us to capture every angle, from quiet, candid moments to the full scale of the celebration. In addition to creating a highlight video and a teaser video, the couple also chose to have us create a separate video of the all the speeches in their entirety. They knew their friends and family would have amazing things to say, and boy did they deliver! After the ceremony, moving speeches gave way to an unforgettable dance party. Thanks to DJ Dazzler, the night ended exactly how it should: nonstop dancing under glittering disco balls, surrounded by friends, family, and pure joy.
Six months before the wedding, we also filmed Becca and Ryan’s engagement session, which gave us an even deeper connection to their story. The day started cozy and personal with a PJ photo shoot in their home, followed by a flower shop stop, pizza and beer, ice cream, and a sunset bike ride with the Queen Mary in the background. That session captured their everyday magic, and helped shape a wedding film that feels deeply personal and true.
Becca and Ryan’s wedding wasn’t just a beautiful event; it was a celebration of who they are, together. And we’re so grateful we got to capture it.
