CHARLES + MICHAEL
VALENTINE - LOS ANGELES, CA
The day started off with a hail storm, in the middle of Downtown LA. But it wasn't long before the skies cleared, and the guests arrived to experience one of the most beautiful ceremonies, with both grooms sharing heartfelt vows. The reception decor and event festivities were designed and planned to perfection by Alfred House Productions. Everything from roaming oyster shuckers and a cannabis bartender, to the classiest photo booth by Brass Street Photobooth and an incredible 7-tiered masterpiece of a cake by Big Sugar Bakeshop. And once the music started, the dancing never stopped. Truly an epic wedding!

The proposal. Tell me everything!
About six months before the proposal, Charles told Michael that he had always wanted a titanium ring. Michael, at the time, owned a machine shop, so he sett to work figuring out how to machine a ring out of titanium. Five months and a lot of broken tools later, the rings were ready, and the only thing Michael had left to do was ask Charles to marry him. After returning from a 7-day bike ride, Michael was exhausted, but ready to pop the big question. He asked Charles to dinner, and took him to the place they went to on their first date, Everson Royce Bar. Sitting at the same table on the patio, and after ordering drinks and beating around the bush, Michael finally asked Charles to marry him. Charles, with tears in his eyes, said yes!
We are so incredibly grateful for everything that Ariel and the Leira Production team did to capture our wedding. We originally did not give much thought to videography, but our wedding planner introduced us to Leira Production and we are SO grateful he did.Ariel took time before the wedding to get to know us, our history, and learn what was important about the wedding well in advance. He proactively reached out to our photographer, sound team, and other vendors so that day of, he knew the entire run of show and had planned exactly where to be to capture the best moments. When our video was ready, Leira Productions created a teaser for us on social media, a one minute clip we could share, and a full video that captured the entire day. Ariel's ability to mix our vows with moments of celebration, dance, toasts, and laughter was truly remarkable. He thought of everything from keeping our color palette and fonts in the video for continuity to even checking the licensing for music before sharing with us so we could post on Facebook without any trouble.Hands-down this was the best way we have been able to remember our wedding and it was an incredible experience working with Ariel. We are so grateful and cannot recommend Leira Productions enough if you are thinking about a videographer for your big day.
